My work sits at the intersection of political science, emerging technologies, and resilience. I research trust in institutions, the implementation of government technology, and the epistemic crisis in democracy. My dissertation looks at how cities are using smart city technologies to address urban problems, build trust in city institutions, and inform residents about their city.
In my personal life, I enjoy outdoor activities like running, hiking, and camping, watching (and sometimes playing) baseball, basketball, and football, and sitting down with a good book.
